Donovan Griffin-Blake,
President & CEO
Dr. Donovan Griffin-Blake is a strategist, researcher, and consultant whose work sits at the intersection of innovation, organizational strategy, and transformative leadership. As the founder of Alchemy Consulting, she partners with organizations, institutions, and leaders to turn complex challenges into actionable strategies that drive growth, impact, and sustainable change.
With a multidisciplinary background spanning research, strategy, and organizational development, Dr. Griffin-Blake brings both analytical rigor and creative problem-solving to every engagement. Her approach—reflected in the name Alchemy—focuses on transforming ideas, data, and vision into practical solutions that help organizations evolve and thrive in rapidly changing environments.
Throughout her career, Dr. Griffin-Blake has advised startups, nonprofits, academic institutions, and public sector organizations on issues ranging from strategic planning and innovation management to leadership development and systems transformation. Her work is grounded in a commitment to thoughtful inquiry, collaborative design, and evidence-based decision-making.
At Alchemy Consulting, Dr. Griffin-Blake leads initiatives that help organizations clarify their mission, strengthen their strategy, and build the structures needed to achieve lasting impact. Her work emphasizes turning insight into action—helping clients move from concept to implementation with clarity and confidence.
Dr. Armecia Hassell
Dr. Armecia Hassell
Dr. Armecia Hassell is a dedicated leader and public school educator with over 20 years of experience. Holding a doctorate in Educational Leadership, a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies/English. She has contributed to various research projects aimed at meeting the needs of underserved scholars. Dr. Hassell is an active member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. Additionally and she has served as Assistant Director for a non-profit organization designed to close the opportunity gap for minority students. Her skillset lies in her desire and passion for young people, and when she is not working she is an avid rollerskater and spends time out with her children.

Guernica D. Williams
Guernica D. Williams is the Creative Director of After 6 Media Group, LLC. Her passions embody creating content for audiences in the areas of radio, tv, film, and social media platforms.
Guernica is a social activist for Black men and Black boys and the founder/creator of iChangeTheNarrative, a social initiative birthed (2018) to empower portrayals of Black males in media. Bridging story with global assemblies in order to promote belonging, othering, and changing the narrative is her passion behind EVERY creative pursuit!

Although we are based in Maryland, our clientele is international. We work with clients in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, New Orleans, Atlanta, Houston, Michigan and in Lagos, Nigeria.
